OUR PROJECTS
Turning ideas into action
Earth FX International develops practical wildlife conservation projects that respond to real needs — bringing together wildlife, people, knowledge and place.
From education programs already operating on the ground to long-term conservation developments being planned for the future, our projects vary in scale, location and purpose.
What connects them is a shared approach: understand the challenge, work with the people and places involved, bring together the right knowledge and partnerships, and build solutions designed to create lasting change.
Different projects. One connected purpose.
EARTH FX ZAMBIA
Where vision meets the ground
Earth FX International Zambia brings the wider Earth FX vision into a local context — working with Zambian leadership, communities, educators, conservation professionals and partners to develop solutions shaped around Zambia’s wildlife, people and future.
Established as a Zambian non-profit organisation, Earth FX Zambia provides a locally led platform through which conservation education, wildlife welfare, research, community participation and long-term conservation development can grow together.
This work is already taking shape through conservation education and collaborative activities at Munda Wanga, working alongside the Department of National Parks and Wildlife, while broader concepts are being developed for the future of conservation facilities, wildlife care, research, education and sustainable visitor experiences.
Importantly, these concepts are not tied to a single site. They form part of a wider Earth FX approach to exploring how conservation places can be strengthened, reimagined and developed to create greater outcomes for wildlife, people and the environments they share.
Beginning locally. Building for generations.

PROJECT 01
KIDS FOR CONSERVATION
Kids for Conservation is Earth FX International’s conservation education initiative, designed to help young people understand the natural world, investigate the challenges facing it and recognise that they can play a meaningful role in what happens next.
Beginning with conservation education on the ground in Zambia and expanding into school-based learning internationally, the program connects students with wildlife, ecosystems, communities and real conservation challenges.
Learning is only the beginning. Students are encouraged to question, investigate, make decisions, develop ideas and take practical action — building knowledge alongside compassion, responsibility and critical thinking.
Through locally relevant learning and connections between classrooms, countries and conservation projects, Kids for Conservation helps young people become active participants in their conservation future.
One class cannot solve every conservation challenge. But one class can change one thing.
PROJECT 02
WILDLIFE CONSERVATION & WELFARE
Better outcomes begin with the individual animal.
Earth FX International approaches conservation with a simple principle: the wellbeing of individual animals matters alongside the protection of species, habitats and ecosystems.
Our work seeks to strengthen the places, systems and people responsible for wildlife care — from improving welfare and rehabilitation environments to supporting conservation facilities, veterinary capacity and long-term planning.
This means looking beyond individual interventions to the conditions that determine whether good outcomes can last: appropriate habitats, skilled people, sound management, research, education, sustainable funding and infrastructure designed around the needs of wildlife.
As Earth FX develops internationally, this approach can support existing conservation organisations and wildlife facilities, while also informing the development of future rescue, rehabilitation and veterinary projects where genuine need and local opportunity exist.
Animal welfare is not separate from conservation. It is part of how conservation should be done.
PROJECT 03
CONSERVATION PLACES OF THE FUTURE
One vision. Many places. Solutions shaped locally.
Earth FX International is developing an approach to conservation places that brings together wildlife welfare, conservation, education, research, communities, culture, sustainable development and responsible tourism — not as separate activities, but as parts of one connected system.
Every place begins differently. Its wildlife, ecosystems, people, culture, history, conservation challenges and economic opportunities are unique. Rather than applying a standard model, Earth FX begins by understanding what already exists, what belongs there, what needs strengthening and what possibilities could be created.
Wildlife is central to that story. We believe conservation places should celebrate the wildlife and natural environments of their own country and region — creating reasons for people to travel, discover and experience those places rather than bringing wildlife from around the world into a single destination.
Done well, these places can become much more than visitor attractions. They can support wildlife care and conservation, education and research, create employment and enterprise, strengthen communities, celebrate culture, encourage responsible tourism and generate economic value that contributes to protecting the natural assets on which that opportunity depends.
The model can take many forms — from strengthening and reimagining existing wildlife parks and conservation centres to developing new wildlife hospitals, research and education facilities, sustainable visitor experiences and integrated conservation destinations where genuine need and local opportunity exist.
The principles can travel. The solution belongs to the place.
PROJECT 04
RESEARCH, COMMUNITY & OPPORTUNITY
Knowledge becomes more powerful when it is shared.
Earth FX International believes lasting conservation solutions are stronger when scientific knowledge, local experience and community participation come together.
Research can help us understand wildlife, ecosystems and changing environmental conditions. But knowledge becomes most valuable when it informs practical decisions — improving wildlife care, strengthening conservation management, guiding sustainable development and helping communities respond to the challenges and opportunities around them.
Local knowledge matters too. People living alongside wildlife and natural environments bring experience, understanding and perspectives that cannot simply be imported from somewhere else. Earth FX seeks to work collaboratively, combining research and professional expertise with the knowledge of the people who understand their own places best.
That collaboration can also create opportunity. Conservation projects can contribute to skills development, training, employment, enterprise, education, tourism and new pathways for young people — allowing communities to participate in and benefit from the long-term protection of the places they share.
As Earth FX grows, research and community participation will help us learn what works, measure impact, improve our approaches and share useful knowledge across projects and countries — while allowing every solution to remain grounded in its own local context.
Better knowledge. Stronger communities. More enduring conservation.
DIFFERENT PROJECTS. ONE CONNECTED PURPOSE.
What comes next can begin anywhere.
Earth FX International is built around the belief that meaningful conservation does not have to begin with a perfect plan, a particular place or a single type of project.
It can begin with an animal that needs better care. A classroom ready to learn. A conservation facility that could become something more. A research question worth investigating. A community with an idea. Or a place with possibilities that have not yet been realised.
What matters is understanding the need, bringing together the right people and knowledge, and developing solutions that belong to the place in which they will live.
Have a conservation project, place or idea that could benefit from collaboration?
For wildlife. For people. For the places we share. For the generations still to come.
